As Vice President Development for Core5 Industrial Partners, JD is charged with project management efforts for the states of Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. His principal duties include due diligence investigation of new properties, cost budgeting and estimating, design and supervision of new development and tenant improvement projects and providing technical guidance for assignments managed by third party property management teams.

With 15 years’ experience in the commercial real estate industry, JD’s experience ranges from individual project management to due diligence and execution of multi-building industrial parks across the Midwest. He previously worked at Pepper Construction Company as Senior Project Manager in Cincinnati where he completed several projects in the speculative industrial, corporate office, and higher education markets.

JD is a graduate of Purdue University where he received a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering. He is LEED AP BD+C, ASHE Construction, and OSHA certified. JD was recently accepted into the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) Developing Leaders Forum – an exclusive program geared towards professionals age 35 and under where he will participate in NAIOP’s extensive network, gain instant access to the latest industry news and enjoy unparalleled networking opportunities.

JD, his wife, and daughter live in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. They enjoy traveling and spending time at their family lake house located at Lake Cumberland. Outside of work, JD also enjoys attending sporting events, especially the Boilermakers, and working on projects around the house.
