As Vice President of Investments in Core5’s Atlanta office, Mitchell’s primary focus is on land acquisition, entitlement, pre-development, and development. Additionally, he leads all marketing and leasing efforts for speculative buildings and potential build-to-suit projects in the Southeastern Region, including the procurement and management of third-party broker and property management relationships.  

Prior to joining Core5, Mitchell served as a Director in the Atlanta office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. In this role he focused on disposition and capitalization of industrial assets and portfolios across the Southeast. Mitchell and his regional team completed an aggregate transactional value of $8.2 billion, totaling over 80.8 million square feet since 2021. Prior to joining JLL in 2018, Mitchell was an Associate at Stan Johnson Company’s Corporate Finance group, focusing on industrial and office sale-leaseback transactions with corporate owners and private equity sponsors.  

Mitchell earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of Georgia. He holds a Georgia real estate license and is an active member of NAIOP Georgia. In his free time, Mitchell enjoys spending time with his wife and Australian shepherd, exercising, playing golf, and traveling.
