Senior Vice President and Managing Director

As Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Core5, James has chief responsibility for business development and capital deployment in Texas, Illinois, Pennsylvania and other major distribution markets across the United States. His primary focus is on land acquisition, entitlement and development of modern logistics facilities for inventory and build-to-suit requirements, in addition to sourcing value-add acquisition opportunities.

A commercial real estate veteran of more than 25 years, James has overseen the development, sales, leases and management of more than 35 million square feet of industrial properties with a total market value in excess of $1.7 billion. James currently holds a membership with the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors (ACBR), having past achieved honors as a developer associate member in the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) Million Dollar Club. He maintains an active real estate license in Georgia.

His past professional duties include asset management, development, sales, acquisitions, marketing, leasing and operations for industrial real estate portfolios. Prior to joining Core5, James spent 11 years serving as Vice President for Real Estate and Development with RACO General Contractors and most recently as President for the RACO Management Group.

James acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a Master of Science degree in Business Management (MBA) — both from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia.

Active in the community through his leadership and volunteer efforts, James has served as Chairman of the Eagle’s Landing Country Club Charity Board and the Charity Selection committee and worked closely with other local charities and causes including the public school system’s programs for children with special needs.
